Brain Healthcare Center is a telepsychiatry practice. Every appointment happens by secure video, so you can be seen from home, from work, or anywhere private with an internet connection.
Psychiatric providers can only treat patients located in states where they hold a license. Elizabeth Mensah, PMHNP-BC, is licensed in three: New York and Utah. What matters is where you are physically located at the time of your appointment, not where you grew up or where your insurance is based.

A phone, tablet or computer with a camera, and a private place to sit for the length of the appointment.
We will confirm your location at the start of each visit. This is a licensing requirement, not a formality.
Medication can be prescribed and managed through telehealth, and refills are handled between appointments.
A full psychiatric evaluation covers your history, previous treatment and what has and has not worked, so it is not a fifteen-minute visit.
